AGREEMENT:

 I, _________________________, hereafter referred to as the Adopter, agree that the above described animal is being adopted by me solely as a pet for myself and/or my immediate family.  This animal involves a lifetime commitment, and I agree that I will not sell, give away, or dispose of this animal to anyone for any reason.  If, at a later date, I am unable or unwilling to keep this pet, I agree to first contact PAWS Feline Rescue and give them the option to reclaim the pet at no charge.

I hereby agree to provide love, kindness, exercise, and proper care of this animal including clean and adequate shelter, fresh water, and proper diet. I also agree to establish regular contact with a veterinarian in order to maintain the well-being of said animal through regular health check-ups and any and all necessary treatments and vaccinations.

I hereby agree to have said animal spayed or neutered by _____________.

Proof of spay or neuter must be forwarded to PAWS Feline Rescue.  I consent to a follow-up phone call after the spay/neuter deadline has passed. 

I understand that failure to sterilize the animal and to provide proof within the time period specified will constitute a default under this agreement, and PAWS Feline Rescue shall be entitled to the immediate possession of such animal, and I shall forfeit all amounts paid to PAWS Feline Rescue.

I hereby understand that PAWS Feline Rescue and its associates make no representations or warranties expressed or implied about the above mentioned animal’s temperament and is hereby absolved from any liability from future damages or injuries caused by said animal. I also understand and agree that PAWS Feline Rescue and its associates give no guarantees expressed or implied to the health or suitability of the animal to the adopted and/or his family.  PAWS Feline Rescue cannot be held responsible for any sickness or medical care or cost incurred by said animal before or after receipt by the adopter.

If you determine that your animal is not compatible with your current pets, your immediate family members, or your housing conditions, you may return the animal and request a full refund within seven (7) days of adoption. 

I have read the contract agreement, and I completely understand and accept the rights and obligations involved.
