"I contacted PAWS about adopting one of the rescue cats on their website. It had already been adopted by the time my email came through but Kathy said she would keep her eye out for a similar kitty. Sure enough it was not long before she contacted me about one she had found at the shelter. She was to be put down the next day. She described the female cat and I agreed to the adoption. I went down that weekend to her rescue facility which was very easy to find and met my new cat for the first time. After the adoption formalities I brought Misha home and that same day she was sitting behind me on the chair cleaning my hair, letting me hold her, and seeming to feel right at home. It's been about two weeks now and Misha greets me at the door, wants to play sometimes, vocalizes her eating preferences, and is generally the same personality of cat that I lost when my Jäger died a couple of years ago. Gentle, affectionate, smart, and happy in the house. I could not have found a better match and I will be forever grateful to Kathy and her family that helps her run PAWS for helping to bring Misha and I together. I would recommend them highly."
